tree phase 1


At present, i am visiting spots where it is full of trees.i am painting trees of different shapes and sizes in last two months.i am not very deft at it but posting some of the paintings,which have trees in them.

dear david, i know you are renowned artist, hence value your comments very much.since i dont know what is chinese effect i cant understand the chinese influence .if you can elaborate, would appreciate.

utratiSanjeev, the Chinese style is the bold, almost calligraphic effect on the tree trunks juxtaposed to the very soft atmospheric background. Your painting therefore reflects the style of a traditional Chinese black ink, brush painting on rice paper. This is one of your very best paintings that I've seen so far. I might also add that I like your red signature or sign, and that too is like a Chinese "chop" or stamp. Keep up the good work!
